How can we bring about the change?
It’s now time to create a change plan, complete with the processes and procedures that will keep everything on track. This will build on the important work you’ve performed in the Discover phase – particularly the situation analysis.
The design phase doesn’t cover the technical aspects of a change project; for example, the upgrade of rolling stock or a technology improvement. Rather, the focus here is people. This phase is all about designing a solution that will bring your team with you on the change journey.
There are three main stages in this phase: solution options, organisation design and initial transition planning. The documents below will explain these in more detail:
